Our Beginnings
The North America China Council
Established in Washington State, the North America China Council (NACC) has a rich history of fostering connections and understanding between the people of North America and Greater China. Since its inception, the non-profit organization has been dedicated to bridging the gap between these diverse communities by promoting cultural, academic, business, and hi-tech exchanges.
Over the years, NACC has played an instrumental role in facilitating numerous events, programs, and collaborative initiatives, paving the way for a stronger bond between the two regions and fostering a spirit of unity, respect, and mutual growth.

What We Do
North America China Council is a Washington State not-for-profit corporation formed to serve as a diverse platform providing the information and resources to help companies and individuals in North America and Greater China to have better understanding and connection in, without limitation, cultural, academic, business, and hi-tech fields.

Dawson Dong
Chairman
Dawson Dezheng Dong,MD,PhD Dr. Dawson Dezheng Dong is the founder and Chairman of All Health International (AHI) and American Golden Tripod Organization (AGTO),the Vice Chairman of International Association of Bio-Medical Sciences (IABMS). Dr. Dong has considerable experience in business development and marketing and in medical research. Dr. Dong was born in Harbin, China. He has studied, conducted medical research, and worked at Bethune Medical University, Harbin Medical University, Shanghai Medical University, Dokkyo Medical University, Harvard Medical School and at the University of Southern California. He currently lives in Los Angeles and dedicates his time to his family, supports the health care industry, develops social networks, and is also involved in real estate.
Michael Fowler
Executive Vice Chair
Mike Fowler serves as Senior Trade Consultant at the World Trade Center Tacoma. Mike is fluent in Chinese and Japanese and has extensive experience as a consultant assisting US firms access Asian markets. Chair Emeritus of the Pacific Northwest International Trade Alliance, he currently serves on the Board of Directors of World Affairs Council in Tacoma. A former Senior Editor of Business Tokyo magazine, Mike holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Sophia University Graduate School of Comparative Culture in Tokyo and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Todd Watts
President
Todd is currently the Sr. Director of Engineering at Beyondsoft Consulting, where he oversees Business Development and Incubating Services for Data and AI, Cloud, and Application services. Prior to Beyondsoft, Todd held various leadership roles at iSoftStone North America, including Vice President and Sr. Director, where he managed the business development and project delivery for the Seattle business unit. Earlier in his career, Todd spent 10 years at Microsoft within the Engineering Excellence Team, Microsoft Learning, and Windows Marketing.

Diana Wu
Executive Director
Diana Wu, founder and executive director, has built a career around fostering cultural exchanges, art performances, and professional training programs between China and the United States. With a diverse background in pediatrics, research, and business, she has been involved in numerous international and local community events. Since 2005, Diana has worked with a group of professionals to establish the North America China Council, driven by her passion for promoting love, peace, and friendship between the two nations. Her commitment to bridging the gap through cultural, academic, and business initiatives has made her a key figure in strengthening the relationship between the U.S. and China.
David Li, Ph.D.
Deputy Director
David Li, a successful business owner, scientific specialist, and social activist, holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and has double majors in Biology and Finance. With years of experience as a scientist and instructor at the University of Washington Medical School, David has published high-impact scientific articles and actively participated in community activities. He has served as deputy secretary for the Seattle Chinese Biomedical Association (SCBA) and President for the Chinese Northwest Hiker Association (CNHA). Committed to fostering information exchange within Washington state Chinese communities and between Chinese and other community groups in America, David aims to harmonize relationships between diverse ethnic groups through business, cultural, medical, technology, and academic exchanges.
Anna Chang
Secretary
Anna Chang Anna has a rich background having worked as an engineer for the University of Washington, then had a career change into finance. She has volunteered at Jubilee Reach and served as president of Chinese Council there. She is also actively involved in the local Chinese community. In her spare time, she teaches and organizes a dance team, Anna’s Fusion Dance. They perform in many local community events.
Kenneth Lu

Kenneth Lu obtained his business administration bachelor’s degree at Victory University of Wellington, New Zealand, majoring in Information System and ECommerce. With more than 10 years solid work experiences in Hospitality, Customer Service, International Trade and Luxury Media industries in China, Kenneth has built up his professional career in Communication and Banking and Service section, which also leads his vision, passion and practice in event strategy, planning, organizing and execution.
